We are very proud to announce that Nine PBS' Food is Love has been greenlighted for our THIRD SEASON, and for that we are truly grateful. This event is a THANK YOU for the purchase of your ticket, which directly supports the production of the show.
Food Is Love has a simple mission statement: "Our particular charitable purpose is to inspire, uplift and educate an audience on the civic impact of the hospitality industry; likewise we are intentional in providing support for the local Restaurants that serve the community."
Please join Master Chef Lasse Sorensen and this region’s notable chefs featured in the first two seasons of Food is Love for an evening that celebrates our city‘s culinary riches. From Malaysia to Bosnia, Italy to Ecuador, you will experience the world of flavor in one place, right here in our backyard.
Prepare yourself. A jaw-dropping group of STL culinary stars have banded together to raise funds in support of Season III while listening to the inimitable sounds of Steve Ewing of The Urge & Steve's Hot Dogs. They will bolster our foundation of success, feed our bellies, and nourish our souls:
Munsok So of Kimchi Guys • Ben Poremba of Elaia and Olio • David Kirkland of Turn • Qui Tran of Nudo House and Mai Lee • Heidi Skye Hamamura of Taberu • Bernie Lee of Akar • Daniel Gonzalez & Maria Giamportone of Asador del Sur • Tyler Zimmer of Kaldi Coffee • Harry Parker of Gulf Shores Restaurant • Loryn & Edo Nalic of Balkan Treat Box • Logan Ely of The Lucky Accomplice • Caryn Dugan the STL Veg Girl
Because it is OUR collective story, the story of Saint Louis and the surrounding region, we are asking you to get involved and truly have a hand in its creation. As with any great endeavor, it takes a team to weave the stories of our diverse, talented culinary community and bring them into your homes, now more than ever during these uncertain times. Food Is Love has been that mouthpiece, that light, that shines on this essential community who love what they do, and share it with all they love. Please join us.
