STL Plant-based Restaurant Week Registration Fee (this fee is for restaurants, not the general public)
Thank you for registering your Kirkwood or Webster Groves restaurant to be a part of the first annual STL PLANT-BASED RESTAURANT WEEK! We have a nominal fee to cover admin and printing costs as we gear up to this very exciting week!
May 1-7, 2022 participating restaurants will feature 2-3 fully plant-based (vegan) menu options. This can be something you currently have on your menu and you merely will just highlight for the week. Or, it can be an opportunity to modify an existing menu item, or even create something new.
GETTING THE WORD OUT:
During this inaugural event, we are making things very simple. Your restaurant will be promoted on social media and through traditional press. You will be featured on our Instagram account and our website where you will also be listed and linked. Radio/TV/print/locally-based podcasts will be encouraged to promote the event.
WHAT WE WILL DO TO PROMOTE YOU:
IMMEDIATELY:
-Post your logo and link to your restaurant on our website
-2 posts (reels, stories, grid) a week on our Instagram account featuring your plant-based menu items offered during Restaurant Week. We will tag local press as well.
TWO WEEKS BEFORE:
We will create and provide a 8.5” X 11” full color flyer for your window, promoting your participation.
AS A PARTICIPANT, WE HAVE TWO REQUIREMENTS FOR YOU:
1. Please do not feature a deep-fried plant-based option. We use the word, “plant-based” to indicate a healthy vegan option. Both vegan and plant-based are 100% animal-free, however, plant-based communicates to the customer a healthier option. Ideally, offering menu items without the use of added oils, sugars, salts, preservatives is the most health promoting, however, we understand this is not possible for most restaurants.
2. Provide us with your logo and images with copy you’d like posted on our Instagram/website. If we don’t have this, we can’t promote you!
Thank you so very much for participating! I’m excited to spotlight an array of different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries and offer you the opportunity to highlight unique plant-based menu items to people who may not have thought you offered them! In doing this, you’re giving an anxiety-free experience to people who have different dietary requests. You’re awesome.
